‘Family Day!’ is one of our recurring events with playful and collective activities for children and families. We want to create a warm space where parents, children and residents from Anderlecht and surroundings can meet through fun activities. Everyone can participate in African board games, face painting, crafts, dance or percussion workshops. During the event, Kuumba Kaffee will also be open, so curious passers-by are welcome to pop in and get a taste of the atmosphere.

Cooking workshop: healthy and budget-friendly

Do you also love cooking, healthy dishes or just want to spend a cozy moment with other women? It's all possible because Mama Bolingo and Kuumba are organizing a cooking workshop together.You will work with other women to prepare a healthy and inexpensive dish. Afterwards we will eat this delicious dish together. It will be a fun time in which any woman can participate, but do register on time. On the same day, kuumba will also host Family Day where there will be multiple activities for children.

Kuumba Jam: Tralala Band x Rojah Lao

Come and enjoy a musical evening over a drink at Kuumba Kaffee. Rojah Lao and Tralala Band, will open the stage with an acoustic set combining West African and reggae influences. After the performance, the stage will be open for a jam session.

Are you interested in music and have you ever wondered how a song is made? Kuumba has the perfect activity for you!
Beats ft. y'all is a music week for young people aged 16 to 25. During this week we will dive into the process of making a song, but more specifically a collab... featuring (ft.).
From Monday 03/03 to Friday 07/03 you will have the opportunity to create a full song in collaboration with other young people (and perform it at a later date), how fun! The activity is FREE and will take place in the afternoon (13:30 -15:30) at our partner Jeugd en Muziek.
