Come see this expo at Gc Ten Weyngaert from 28.03 to 09.05 each time from 9am to 6pm. 

The African woman cannot be described by a single image. When white people think of African women, the image of strong African mothers and soul singers quickly comes to mind. But that's not what African women are. They are businesswomen, community builders, teachers, development workers, doctors, lawyers...
We interviewed some extraordinary women about their experiences, their lives and their dreams. Each woman has her own story, each is unique. With contributions from Aurore, Marie-Claude, Bre_Uwin, Alice, Bélise, Clarissa, Crépine, Solenne, Anna, Rihab and Awa-Alice.

This activity is part of Vrouwxnlente, an annual festival organised in Brussels community centres to mark International Women's Day on 8 March.

Do you want to tell stories with images? Are you fascinated by finding the right colours, shapes and lines to tell a story?  

Then come to our workshop (14.04 > 18.04) and learn more about making comics together with an artist. There's a free entry and we'll provide all the materials so you can create your own story. A visit to the comic book museum is also on the programme!

Hey friends! Join us for an evening of spoken word for soft loud, humble or confident voices on the 18/04. As at every OutSpoken, new and old faces are welcome. This time, we will write around the theme Buddies during our writing session. After a collective writing session, we listen to those who would like to read aloud during the open mic.

‘Family Day!’ is one of our recurring events with activities for children and families. We want to create a warm space where parents, children and people from Anderlecht and the area can meet through creative activities. Everyone can participate in African board games, face painting, craft activities and dance or percussion workshops. During the event, Kuumba Kaffee will also be open, so curious passers-by are welcome to pop in and soak up the atmosphere.

We want to create a warm space where parents, children and residents from Anderlecht and surroundings can meet through fun activities. Everyone can participate in African board games, face painting, crafts, dance or percussion workshops. During the event, Kuumba Kaffee will also be open, so curious passers-by are welcome to pop in and get a taste of the atmosphere.
