Día de todos los muertos

On 31 October, we'll be celebrating Día de Todos los Muertos with C.C. Sartañani. Together, we'll learn how to make and decorate an altarcito (altar) for Día de Todos los Muertos. During the evening, we'll also take some time to share traditions and stories about our ancestors.
For hungry tummies: snacks and drinks will be provided. We will end the evening together with music, so be sure to bring an instrument and join in!

18:00 – Doors open + short introduction to Día de los Muertos
18:30 – Workshop: Making an Altarcito for Día de Todos los Muertos
19:30 – Storytelling: traditions surrounding ancestors
20:30 – Jam session with C.C. Sartañani (Bolivian music)

C.C. Sartañani is a cultural centre in Brussels that keeps Bolivian traditions alive through dance, music and heritage. They bring people and generations together by showcasing the colourful soul of Bolivia and are best known as the organisers of the Oruro Carnival in Brussels.
