We start at 14:00 and wrap up our activities at 17:00. Be sure to join us!

After all the festivities and the last sparks of fireworks, it's time to welcome the new year at Kuumba. Join us for an evening filled with snacks, drinks, and good vibes. There will be a slam and rap performance, as well as a live band you can dance to. The New Year reception with our partners Mama Bolingo and FORA vzw is the perfect opportunity to reconnect over a drink, hear each other’s ideas, and discuss the new challenges and opportunities ahead. Come and discover our new projects and collaborations for 2025.

OutSpoken is back, fresh and lively, with the theme ‘New Beginnings’. This is your chance to let loose your creativity during writing sessions and explore what a new beginning means for you. Don’t worry, Brenda will provide creative prompts to bring out your writing talent.

OutSpoken offers a stage for spoken word every month in Brussels. Whether you come to enjoy or to share your unique voice, we welcome you to close the year together in a warm and personal way. In this edition, we’ll be working with Hannah, one of our active participants, on the theme ‘Joyful Joyful’. She will guide you through creative prompts. What if ‘Joy’ were a person? What would you say to them in a letter? Or imagine what joy might taste, sound, or feel like. Raise your pen and join us to close the year together!
