Poetry can help build bridges between people, cultures and continents. Kuumba invites three young African spoken word artists to use our Kuumba Outspoken. Somewhere between oral tradition and hip hop, slampoetry is an art form that is literary as well as stage, poetic and political. It is the expression discipline of a youth who yearns for change and wants to be heard. Discover Larry, Amee and Djamile in action!
